Designed by a member of the McWilliam Clan, Glen McWilliam, the Hanwood Barrel was completed in 1973 and built to the scale of a wine barrel, complete with staves and hoops. The barrel head has a striking mural painted on the glass and outside the door is a bronze statue of JJ McWilliam, a tribute from the company he founded over one hundred years ago.
